Team NetApp with a strong line-up of sprinters at Schaal Sels

This Sunday, the 87th edition of Schaal Sels will be the next Belgian race on Team NetApp's schedule. The race is characterized by long sectors of cobblestones and winding alleys. The course leads over 200 kilometers in Antwerpen and surrounding area.
Merksem, a district of Antwerp, will be the point of start and finish. The race starts with a loop towards the north to the Dutch city of Hoogerheide followed by six finish passages through the city center of Antwerp.
"The course is completely flat. But the race is nevertheless demanding due to its many cobblestone sectors and winding streets. Furthermore the wind can be a decisive factor", knows Sport Director Jens Heppner.
"Hopefully we will be more lucky this year since it seemed like we were haunted by bad luck with many defects and crashes last year. We have four sprinters in our line-up for Schaal Sels and will try to catch the decisive breakaway group. In case of a bunch sprint we will set up the sprint for the rider who feels best to secure a good ranking“, Heppner continues.
Line-Up:
Jerome Baugnies, Andreas Schillinger, Jan Barta, Andre Schulze, Blaz Jarc, Michael Schwarzmann, Markus Eichler, Daniel Schorn
