Team NetApp to start in the Grand Prix Pino Cerami

On April 5, Team NetApp will be at the starting line of the Wallonian Grand Prix Pino Cerami single-day race, named after the oldest stage winner in the Tour de France to date, Giuseppe “Pino” Cerami.
The Grand Prix Pino Cerami leads from Saint-Ghislain to Frameries through the region of Hainaut and is 200.2 kilometers long. “It is quite a difficult race, and usually only small groups make it through,” Sport Director Jens Heppner said in his assessment of the race.
“While there are no cobblestone sections in the large circuit, there are some short, steep climbs and the streets are mostly narrow. Then there are four finishing laps in Frameries that are especially difficult with two cobblestone sections,” Heppner continued. The season of Belgian spring races is slowly drawing to a close with the Grand Prix Pino Cerami. On April 11, Team NetApp will line up in Belgium for the last time this year at De Brabantse Pijl.
