Team NetApp in preparation for Eschborn-Frankfurt

On May 1st Team NetApp starts on the traditional German race Eschborn-Frankfurt. The race leads over 200 kilometres through the Taunus and ends in downtown Frankfurt.
“As a German team, the race is one of our season highlights. We have reached a good placement last year when Andreas Dietziker finished ninth, we're aiming on repeating this year,” says Sport Director Enrico Poitschke. “Furthermore we will compete with almost our entire Giro d’Italia line-up; it is the last major exposure test for the riders.”
The course of the 51st running of Eschborn-Frankfurt will be more difficult than last year. The riders will have to deal with the short but very steep climb on Mammolshain three times, twice within ten kilometres.
“The Mammolshain is always a decisive race point, even more by the modified course. We are very well positioned for each possible outcome whether the race should be decided by a small split or in sprint of a larger group“, expressed Poitschke optimistically.
Line-Up:
Jan Barta, Cesare Benedetti, Matthias Brändle, Andreas Dietziker, Reto Hollenstein, Bartosz Huzarski, Leo König und Daniel Schorn
